ENROLLMENT
Enrollment for class is on a first come first serve basis. Once your completed enrollment form and payment has been received you will receive phone or email confirmation within 5 days of receipt. Please do not assume you are enrolled in class without a confirmation. You are required to provide proof of vaccinations or titers before or on the first day of class.
CLASS CANCELLATIONS
If the minimum enrollment for a class is not met 3 days prior to the first class session, the class will be cancelled. We will notify you 3 days before the class was scheduled to begin to see if you would like to enroll in an alternate class, receive credit towards a future class, or receive a full refund.
ATTENDANCE
First day of class is very important. Attendance at all other sessions are important as each week builds upon prior lessons. If you miss a session please contact the trainer to discuss what was covered. Please do not bring your dog to class if they become ill but we encourage you to come to the session without your dog so not to miss any important instruction.
DOG BEHAVIOR
In order to protect all participants in a class, we reserve the right to decline entry to any dog who presents behavior issues that may be overly dangerous, disruptive, or that may be exacerbated by participation in a group class. If behavior issues are discovered during the class and the trainer determines that it is in everyone’s best interest to seek a private trainer, you will be provided with a qualified trainer referral and a full refund.
DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR
We reserve the right to decline entry (or excuse from class) any person that exhibits any inappropriate or disruptive behavior in class. We only use positive reinforcement training methods and harsh corrections and intimidating training will not be tolerated.
CHILDREN
Your children are welcomed and encouraged to participate in class. In order to make it a fun and safe experience for all your children must remain under guardian supervision at all times. Children under 8 years should have a second adult present to supervise them. Please explain to your children that all dogs are not socialized to, friendly toward or comfortable around children, so they should not approach or pet the other dogs in class. If your child wants to meet another dog, please obtain the owner’s permission, and only during non-instructional times. Children can get bored during class, so please feel free to bring quiet toys or activities to keep them entertained.
UNALTERED DOGS
All dogs are welcome in training class. Female dogs that are in heat need to be wearing panties or not attend during that time.
